As part of an exercise for an Advanced Photojournalism class at Kent State University, myself and my classmates were put in pairs and asked to photograph and interview each other. This project was meant to teach us what it's like to let a photographer into your life and the feelings of vulnerability that subjects can experience. This project was a huge learning experience for myself and Kate Sumpter, the classmate I photographed. It honed my skills as a storyteller and gave me a special perspective on what it's like to be the one in front of the camera.
