My Own Kentucky Home describes the tumultuous personal journey I experienced while living in Lexington, Ky for a summer. In June of 2011, I moved to Lexington and was diagnosed with panic disorder, a disease that changed my life. While in Kentucky, I learned more about myself and my disease than I ever thought possible. If not for Kentucky, I doubt I would have made it out alive. This patchwork piece, composed of random video clips collected throughout my summer there, is a raw and personal look at how I changed, grew and survived.
